Illinois boy spends week in hospital with an invasive strep an infection

MACOMB, Illinois — Samantha Moore had no concept her 9-year-old son was affected by a strep an infection till his foot swelled up and he grew to become delirious. 

Colt Bearce is an lively, wholesome child, so when he complained of feeling unwell after returning to the household’s Macomb, Illinois, house from college Feb. 7, Moore wasn’t overly involved.
