ER nurses save marathon runner whose coronary heart stopped throughout race

Greg Woodman’s final thought earlier than collapsing from cardiac arrest was to get off the street and nearer to the sand at Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Woodman, 65, was working the Presque Isle Half Marathon July 16 with two of his sons, Joe and Nate. They raced collectively for a few miles, then he instructed them to go forward at their regular tempo.
